Digicon Technologies Limited will implement and operate state-of-the-art call center services for Sonali Bank Limited, the country’s largest public bank.

In this regard, an agreement signing ceremony was held on August 22 between Sonali Bank Limited, Digicon Technologies Limited and Earth Next Technologies Limited (JV) at the head office of Sonali Bank, a press release said.

CEO and Managing Director of Sonali Bank Limited, Md Ataur Rahman Prodhan was present as the chief guest at the signing ceremony.

Niranjan Chandra Debnath, Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank Limited, Wahidur Rahman Sharif, Managing Director of Digicon Technologies Limited and Sadi Abdullah, Managing Director of Earth Next Technologies Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

“Digicon is delighted to be associated with Sonali Bank and is committed to ensuring best-in-class consumer service delivery from the largest public sector bank,” said Wahidur Rahman, Managing Director of Digicon Technologies.

As part of this agreement, a centralized communication system will be created, allowing the provision of services around the clock by telephone, mobile phone, SMS, e-mail and other digital channels.

Among others, Gourab Krishna Gupta, Commercial Director of Digicon Technologies Limited, Chief Financial Officer, Anwar Hossain FCMA and Md Murshedul Kabir, Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank, Md Mujibur Rahman, Sanchia Binte Ali and Md Kamruzzaman Khan, Chief Financial Officer, Subhash Chandra Das FCMA, FCA, Deputy Managing Director, Md Zahirul Islam (Project Director), Deputy Managing Director, Md Majibur Rahman, , Govt. Accounts and Services Division, Principal Engineer (IT), Md Mizanur Rahman, Govt. The Accounts and Services Division was present along with other senior officials from the three organizations.
